I know the feeling... Though I am thankful that enormous amounts of vocabulary
were crammed into me in school, even if I apparantly forget it - I sometimes
find that I know words that I'm sure I've never seen before. With Irish (which
I was taught from an early age) it's even better - sometimes, listening to
speech, I understand perfectly, without having any idea of what the words that
were said were (and not from context, either). Usually, though, I have to
struggle.
