    Whoa, I'm totally the opposite.  I say [iDr=] or [ajDr=] almost depending
on where it comes in the sentence or who I'm speaking to or what kind of a
sentence it is.  Whereas "economics" is always and without exception said
with an [E].  In fact, the initial [i] in that word has become abhorrent to
me, and I don't even say [ikAn@mi] anymore.  And the same is true for most of
the people I associate with, if not all.
