Would be interesting to me, too.

In Þrjótrunn, the old nominative would be reconstructed as '*MORTIS'
since the modern form is 'mörtur', obviously by analogy.  It is
3rd declension:

  nom.sg. mörtur     < *MORTIS
  acc.    mort       < *MORTEM
  dat.    mörti      < *MORTI
  gen.    mörtur     < *MORTIS
  nom.pl. mortir     < *MORTES
  acc.    mortir     < *MORTES
  dat.    mörtifur   < *MORTIBUS
  gen.    mort       < *MORTUM
