My problem is not "see" but "have", and also the fact that there is no first-person singular. In Proboscidean, it's effectively always in the passive, so "I have a ball" becomes "a ball is owned by this one" But all in all, it's been a very helpful exercise! Proboscidean, or /Gn=.Swn='La~/ as it should more properly be, is coming along nicely! Of course, "boy" has to be translated as "male calf" and "girl" as "female calf" and so on, but it's working! This looks like it's becoming an almost "standard" method! Geoff
