No, there isn't. In Russian one group is the Avary, the other the Avartsy,
but I forget which is which.
ObConculture: In the Piat universe, the Avars (the Balkan kind) still
survive in Pannonia as part of the Triune Kingdom of Scythia-Pannonia-
Transbalkania.
