<political commentary> Maybe Turkey, maybe not. They have to clean up their
act. I think Croatia. Albania, eventually. And Macedonia, possibly. Romania
and Bulgaria, I think. Belarus (a dictatorship, I've heard), Ukraine (wonder
what'll happen in the elections...between Kuchma and Yushchenko, esp.), and
Moldova (there's the Trandsniester issue)--I highly doubt it. Armenia and
Georgia, no. The Armenian government and the opposition are both weak (

and Armenia is blockaded by Turkey and Azerbaijan... Georgia has a lot of
problems with corruption, I've heard; wonder how Saakashvili's presidency
will affect Georgia, in the long run. And I'm not sure about Russia,
probably not, because of Chechnya. And neither Uzbekistan, Tajikistan,
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan, which still have problems with
terrible human rights, corruption, etc. <end political commentary>
"An independent Faeroe Islands or Greenland? And will Esperanto or any other
IAL get widely accepted in the Union government, or will they just give up
on that altogether...."
I highly doubt that. Altho soon they're probably going to have to find a
solution...
Trebor.
