I am much relieved!  ;)

I had some rather horrific visions of what it could mean, having read - in
"The Bone People" by a NZ author whose name I've forgotten - one character
saying an aristocrat's written comments in relation to yet another character,
could mean anything from indulging in drugs, to raping the cat.
