Mood name?

I sent a message about this some 30h ago, and have yet not seen either my
original message nor any responses, so I assume it got lost in the warp.
Anyway, I was looking for suggestions for a latinesque name for a mood
indicating that the speaker is merely relaying information without making any
claim as to its being true or not. It would typically be used in indirect
speech. I seem to recall that Quechua has an infection indicating this. Any
suggestions?
Andreas
PS I'm perfectly aware I could call this the "indirect discourse marker" or
whatever. But I've got a soft spot for latin-sounding grammatical terms, and
have got ones for all the other modal markers, so it'd be nice to have one for
this one to. The marker is _ma_ [m@], BTW, and the language that sports it is
Steienzh.
