That's what I meant. There's a vague similarity, but you can tell them
apart from the fact that the recorder sounds alot nicer. I also have a
Baroque Flute, but I don't play it as much as I should.

Yep, I do alright on the bass, not sure about the Contra, but I can't play
the Great. It's too heavy, takes too much air, and the holes are too far
apart for me to cover.

It sounds like a racket! :-D Sorry, couldn't resist. Actually, as much Ren.
music as we play at the Recorder Society, you'd think I'd have seen or
heard a rackett by now (although they have been mentioned before). I had to
do a quick google to convince myself that I even knew what a rackett was (I
was right, though).

No, and aside from the Basso Continuo in the background of orchestral
pieces, I only two or three clips of harpsichord music (One's based on the
Goldburg Ground.). I also have a (complete!) Sonatina for piano in the
style of Clementi or Mozart. In general, I try to avoid writing for
keyboard instrumnets, since I don't understand them well enough to do
anything technical (though that never stopped me from composing for
violin!)
