Thanks again all, after looking up rhotic (never heard of the term
before) my accent is definately non rhotic. As for how zero is
pronounced, I've always been good at getting this wrong, but listening I
think I say zi:@r or zi@r and to be honest I'm not sure how to write the
last sound... sounds like the o in so. If Tristan speaks it the same
way I do then its 8u. But anyway, that's how I say it. The @ is very
short but to me, pronounciation of zero with i or i: alone for the first
vowel sounds wrong.
After speaking to you I last night I did start conlanging again, and
got as far as deciding on a phonology, and a few bits and peices. Will
show you if it gets closer to being finished.
