It is, as far as I could tell when I played, randomly generated, but it seems that they have at least put some thought into making it look/"sound" right. If they have constructed anything at all, I doubt it is more than a few stock phrases. I recall thinking what they had done was a better solution than what was done in EQ(1), which was completely random letters in place of what was being said in a language you didn't understand... but I haven't played WoW in over a year, so I am a little fuzzy on it now. There's probably some room there for a fanlang, in any case, if you're feeling motivated. The latest expansion to EQ1 introduced a few words used by NPCs that are defined, to go along with a new race and city-- "vasha" for hello, "udra" for goodbye, and... something else for "thank you" that I don't remember. I thought it was a nice little touch, from the point of view of someone who is just crazy about language. *Did the word "fanlang" exist prior to this or did I just make that up? I'm so lost in all the different -langs these days! Mia.
