Here are the several words in Senyecan for "fire" and "water."
FIRE:
pûnen = fire (animate noun)
vôcon = flame (inanimate noun)
aatêrun = avatar of the one God to the Children of Fire (elves)
WATER:
âµden = water, flowing (animate noun); µ = [m_0]
êêcüon = water, standing; cü = labial [k]
salîîmon = salt water
up- (uf-) = prefix for water compounds, e.g., ùpaµêni = water
fowl,
i.e., up- + aµêni, birds.
