For me, when I program something to generate random words, the
phonology is usually quite elaborated already. The same holds for the
grammar for which I often write a helper to assist me in generating
sentences. Actually, when I continue work on the conlang, I pay so
little attention to what I have programmed that all programming may
become futile and everything has to be redone...
So of course the programmer in me does influence the way my languages
are, but the programs or the methods I use I think hardly influence
the conlang directly.
