I keep a file of short descriptions of myself for all occasions, including
stuff like "Reformed ex-hippy", "Sufficiently competent programmer" and
"Avid smoker". May I have your permission to add "Professional stunt
linguist"?
It's such a very suitable description of the conlanging craft, especially as
I (any many here) practice it. Plus, it's so damn concise it almost hurts,
which is always a good thing.
