- That's easy... It's obviously a typo for "eXCopic baob". "ex-" is obviously the Latinate prefix 'from', and "-ic" is the adjectival suffix. The "cop" in the middle doesn't have to do with police, but with Coptic (there's that '-ic' again!), which comes from Ancient Egyptian, and the Egyptians were famed for their mystical knowledge. So 'cop' means something like 'mystic', 'chemisty' (=Kemet!), or 'medicine'. "Baob" is an onomatopeia for soemthing big, like a didgeridoo; by extension, any similar large cylindrical object.
