Hmm.
The hungrifying (chocolate, of course) cake tempted me to eat it even though I
had already eaten too much.
The cake (chocolate, of course) which makes me hungry tempted me to eat it
even though I had already eaten too much.
I'm not sure those read the same to me, but that may be my perception.
I think, but I'm not sure, that Nik's intention to have a word that indicates
"inducing hunger or thirst" is a property of the item rather than merely a
response of a hungry person seeing food.
