It becomes u- in front of b (>v), m and p (>f), and before a syllable with vocal schwa (which becomes silent here): ben 'son' > uven melekh 'king' > umelekh perahh 'flower' > uferahh rehhov /r@xo:b/ 'street' > urhhov Sh(@)mu'el > uShmu'el

Be more attentive: I said it in the previous msg. C@C@- > CiC-. Phonemicly "le" is /l@/, so */l@r@xo:b/ > /lirxo:b/
