TAN/TECH: MS Access as database

I'm getting MS Word 2000, at a reduced price, and have a
choice between Professional at 160 dollars with their
database on it, MS Access; or the ordinary package with
MS Word and Microsoft Outlook (which of course I will use)
for 130 dollars. Is it worth paying the extra thirty bucks
for a database? Would MS Access be useful in compiling
dictionaries? Or more trouble than it's worth? Of course
getting 2000 Professional at this price is great, but I'm
loath to load my machine up with things I don't use. I'm
not a dentist's office. ;-)
