Some early Icelandic script used a slashed q as an
abbreviation for /ng/. You can find it on page 74 of

MUFI has it in the PUA at \uE8B4 (e.g. the Junicode font)
but it can of course be faked with \u0071\u0337.

Ironically Junicode has the right slash style in \uE8BC but
not in \uE8B4

Insular g (\uA77D \u1D79 rather thn Middle English yogh, the
cap is at \uF10B in current MUFI fonts) for /g/ and Gg for
/N/, would be a nice touch!
