Or because your fellow compatriots don't have an idea of what a deadline is :)) . With the students' newspaper I never had problems of getting enough material. The problem was getting it on time! :)) . What usually happened is that people sent their articles the very day of the limit, or even a day or two after. I'm not rigid, so it usually was okay (the time limit was usually one week before publication, so one or two days late were still okay). Here, I guess that if I received an article already in LaTeX even two weeks after the time limit, it wouldn't be a problem since the only thing we'd have to do is check the spelling and punctuation, the inclusion in the journal would be easy. On the other hand, if I was to receive an article in Word at the same time, don't wonder if it has to wait the next issue :)) .

Thanks! But since I'm not fond of titles with a colon (they look SOOO pretentious, especially this one :)) ), I may go to a simpler "Glossopoiesis" :)) , unless "International Journal of Language Creation" gets more votes :)) .
