See my reply to your reply to the survey (sorry Sally, I forgot to change the
subject line :(((( ). Itakian is about as far from an Austronesian language as
it can be. It has more connections to Bantu languages, something which I
acknowlegded in the sketch of conculture it has, which makes it an isolate
spoken in Central/Southern Africa.
