Actually, the noun that is marked "see verb for more information" is the one in which the verbs say whether it's actor/patient/instrument/ beneficiary/ or locative, etc. The other nouns are marked as "non trigger", meaning the verb doesnt give more information about them. What's more is that in Tagalog the verb usually comes first in regular speech, so in essence the verb is saying, here's what the noun i'm giving information is, and then the nouns come.

That's usually how most texts explain it, but according to Kristian, you can't really say that they are like passives.
