That would be very interesting. Tell me, do you have a computer with
a sound card, and a microphone? If you have that, it should be fairly
easy to play the tape into the microphone, and have the machine record
it as a .wav file (which could then be converted to an mp3). That's
probably the simplest way to do it, although it may not produce the
highest-quality files. If you don't have a microphone, it'll be more
difficult, of course.
