There's no comparison. Coulmas is nice reading, but Daniels and Bright
is sound. If you buy only one book on scripts, save up for Daniels
and Bright. The fact that Daniels is out of academia and grumbles
about it hasn't got anything to do with the quality of the articles
in his volume.
