Re: Con-scripts

I've got a sort-of syllabury (I have no idea how to
spell that word) in the works for Aelya - one of
several conscripts associated with the lang. It's sort
of inspired by mayan glyphs. Actually, I may end up
using it for Tatra.
Here's how it works:
- all syllables are either V or CV combinations
- if a syllable ends with the same vowel as the
preceding syllable (in the same word), it is counted
as consonant alone
- mutations always take the 'y' vowel, since y is
extremely rare (possible nonexistent) in initial
syllables and monosyllables
frex:
anydh 'mutual appreciation' would be represented as
a.ny.dhy
cendyl 'history, account' > ce.ne.dy.ly
ea 'away from' > e.a
vein 'new' > ve.i.ni
i dtae 'the house' > i dy.ta.e
lho thae 'from the house' > lho thy.ta.e
