In those lists, the strong verbs are often listed as irregulars for German. Googling, I found one here: http://donnerwetter.kielikeskus.helsinki.fi/DVG/Verbliste/ Interesting that this hit was in Finland. :-)

I don't know any special word. Those subordinate clauses that show the purpose are often called 'Finalsaetze', but these also include those with 'damit'. **Henrik
