I try to avoid influence from my native lang by creating languages with structures as alien from French as possible, and by thinking up the elements of the lexicon very carefully (that's also why I don't make that many translation exercises. I'm afraid that by doing that I will bring influences in the lexicon of the language that I don't want to appear). Of course, there the exception of Narbonósc, which seems to be an Occitan language which would have evolved more like French, but here it was done willingly so.
