Of course we all feel differently... I could thing my website is beautifully designed,
my conlang is well documented, etc. but not been offended if I'm not in the Top 10,
because I know that people could thing that those ten are better sites than mine or
because they didn't know my site (well).
That if that is clear that the Top 10 is about sites, not about conlangs. How many
sites are there in Scattered Tongues web ring? much more than 10. How many in Christ
Bogart's or Jeffry Henning's lists? if mine is not in the Top 10... I will try to
improve it... but I won't feel bad against CONLANG-L people.
Just a suggestion: vote should be private and it would be clear which are the criteria:
HTML design, documentation, beuty of the conlang, weirdness...
If the Idea of Christophe is that outside people would know the best conlang sites, I
thing the weight should be the documentation of the conlang and the completeness of the
content, with less enphasis on the language itself or the site design.
