Most attempts at **transcribing** modern Greek is of course grossly
inadequate -- tho more often "English rubbish" --, but the Erasmian system
is nearly as perfect a rendering of Classical Greek as you can do in
Classical Latin orthography, which unfortunately does **not** mean that it
is adequate for Modern Greek...
