You might be a conlanger if...

* If you want to translate something into your conlang, have
no word available, worry about that, know you should make up
one, ... but are OTOH too lazy to do that. -- At least that's
*my* biggest problem.

* You actually enjoy reading such books as "Describing
Morphosyntax".

* You really liked to say "Hi!" to people in your conlang
("Manayang eváris!"), but are afraid of how they might
react

* You get into extasis if people think it is cool that
you're intersted in Linguistics

* You always wonder why people are asking for an explanation
about 'the weird stuff' in your signature.

* You always want to correct your teacher when s/he is
writing something in IPA onto the blackboard.

*  You discuss with him/her about his/her abuse of the IPA
after the lesson (I once did that! In English!)

* You notice that you wrote down a quick note in Tengwar,
using your L2 (or worse: your conlang), although you
answered the telephone in your L1 while you were writing.
