I think it is. Not being an anthropologist, much less an archeologist, I'm not sure what exactly the differences are between the two and what that might mean for Miapimoquitch.

This is incredibly flattering. Thanks, Jeffrey! I'm counting on some down time during my summer fieldwork trip, during which I want to get a lot of the documentation work done for Miapimoquitch -- including transcriptions from the original journals in the Deseret Alphabet. And since the DA has a Unicode block (U+10400-U+1044F), I can even put them on the web in their original form! Well, a typescript anyway.
