Well, they came up with the idea of "continent",
so they get to name them! No worries there.
The antieuropeanism is a bit offputting.

Just wondering at the justification - that might
help! It might help to know what kind of culture
and history I'm supposed to be encouraging!
For what it might be worth, historiogrpahers from
eastern lands of The World divde the continents
like this (the landmasses look something like
Earth, so I'll leave out the landmasses that
don't exist on Earth):
Asia is the landmass they live in, roughly
divided in to Ziber on the right (looking to the
West) and Siana on the left. Beyond civilised
lands is the "West", a ways beyond that is the
"Farther West" and beyond the distant Mountains
lies the "Uttermost West". The Uttermost West
contains the sunken lands in the north, Hespera
in the right-middle, Africa in the left-middle
and Nubia to the left. Beyond the Western Ocean
lies the New Land that surrounds the Inner Sea.
To the north is Appalaxia, to the south is Hy
Breasel.
They understand "continents" as we know them, but
don't find the divisions particularly useful.
They prefer smaller more obvious regions to huge
landmasses.
Padraic.
