It seems that Gary's website has gone the way of so many...
Any chance that anyone has these archived and could send me a copy?

Subject: More sentences for Conlang testing
I have added sections two and three of the book "1200 Graded Sentences for
Analysis" to my web site. There are now 812 progressively more complex
sentences at http://www.fiziwig.com/index2.html . I have also run across
another source, long out of copyright, of several thousand progressively more
complex sentences from a a very old text book on sentence diagramming. I plan
to scan those in over the next several weeks, as well as scanning the rest of
the 1200 sentences.
Altogether this will represent a nice collection of about 3,000 to 4,000
sentences, starting very simply and getting progressively more complex.
After that I was thinking about taking one of my half-baked sketch langs and
seeing how far I can get in plowing straight through extemporaneous translation
of the sentences. It seems to me if I can translate a large enough collection
of model sentences I wouldn't even have to write any kind of formal grammar for
the language since the corpus itself would adequately document just about every
imaginable grammatical construct. In effect, the corpus of model sentences
would BE the definition of the language.
