It's hard to say exactly. Some people strongly prefer it. I pretty
much started using Kirsch exclusively, and now I use X-SAMPA-Conlang-Variant
which uses & for ae-ligature and the Kirsch conventions for stress, as lots of
other people do also. (How do you know if ' is primary stress or
ejective? You just guess, I guess.)
