There's probably more than enough of that to go around in just about any conlang -- or natlang, for that matter. Take the word "yen," for example: a yearning desire in English, a unit of money in Japanese, and something else in Vietnamese (I knew a Vietnamese girl once named Yen). Or the name Ringo. You've all heard of Ringo Starr, who took his first name from Western gunslinger Johnny Ringo (Mr. Starr's birth name is Richard Starkey); Ringo also happens to be a man's first name in Japanese. Or, more to the tone of the conversation (as far as I've read anyway), the American TV show "Joanie Loves Chachi," where the latter is a common nickname Italian but also the Korean word for a little boy's "private part." I can hardly wait to find out what extremely rude (or just plain funny) words in unfamiliar languages I've put into Rav Zarruvo.... --- Bob's Original Hero Stuff Page!
