How about the doubled acute accent used in Hungarian long front rounded
vowels? Not possible in ASCII, I know, but it's always had an aesthetic
appeal for me. However, that only combines acute and diaresis. IIRC, Greek
can combine a diaresis, circumflex and a breathing mark over vowels- how
about something like that for all three, but substituting an acute for the
breathng mark?

Not so, as you wouldn't have to worry about the circumflex. Admittedly,
I've never seen the doubled acute over a <w> in any character set, though.
