I can't think of two nicer languages to mix together.  I hope somehow you'll
preserve my favorite, and almost only, Czech word-- pstrus^ (or somesuch)
'ostrich'-- (one has read in the past of a well-known restaurant in Prague
called _try pstru^sy_ (pardon my spelling) ;-))))  Of course, Span. avestruz
is an interesting word in itself-- but since the Czechs got there first,
they would have naming-rights, wouldn't they.
