Not unlike Buginese (Indonesia): mitaka? manu? "I see a bird/birds" m-ita-ka? manu? prf(act.)-see-I/subj. bird uitai manu?e "I see the bird(s)" u-ita-i manu?-e I/subj-see-3/obj bird-def (There is a def. marker /-e/, but no indef.) *mitaka? manu?e *uitai manu?
