Both. I agree with you.
My first encounter with Verdurian took place, when I
scrolled through the conlang part of Mark
Rosenfelder's respectible numbers collection. Numbers
have always been my favourite part of a language (and
usually one of its most representative parts, as
well); the first words I ever write down in a new
conlang are always the numbers 1-10...
The numbers in Verdurian, Cadhinor, etc., looked to me
like a very successful and inspiring attempt for an
Indo-European offshoot.

Yeah, I noticed that soon enough. That's why I added
it to my list of IE languages rather hesitantly.
