A great idea! I must say, the thought has occurred to me at several occasions.
My girlfriend has the strange habit, when she speaks to for example her mother,
to say "I have been to the movies", when in fact we had been there together.
Even worse, she says "I have changed the baby", when it was in fact me who had
done the dirty work. Possibly this is something Russian, I don't know, but I
could never really get used to it (I don't feel insulted by it anymore, because
I know that she has no bad intentions with the expression).
