I'm personally against forums for the kind of discussions we have on this
list, where threads can easily break up into subthreads and go in all
directions. I personally find forums to be difficult to browse and very
counter-intuitive (it may be just me though). At least here I just filter
the mail from this list to a Conlang mailbox and I can read it as I wish
without difficulty, no need to hunt down posts as I usually have to do on
forums. I also prefer posts to be in plain text, with occasionally a link
or too. Pretty formatting is more a nuisance than an advantage here.

You need a straight mind to invent a twisted conlang.
