You're talking about the Quechumaran hypothesys. I think it has a strong
support among some linguists like Cerron-Palomino. According to the
opinion of Dr. Hardman (University of Florida), there is no evidence to
state that Qhechua and Aymara are branchs of the same tree. I support
the falsehood of the Quechumaran Hypothesys too. Nevertheless I'm not
sure whether there is an entire proto-quechumaran reconstruction. I have
seen some quechumaran* words* only.
