Yeah, it is different. Francis Scott Key wrote it witnessing a battle
during the War of 1812. It tells of hope and survival rather than
saccharine patriotic sentiment. (Exactly my goal for the Tech anthem
when I finally get ready to give it words. Nothing pretentious.)
