I spent a week in a Spanish family in Salamanca (Spain) and we used to have dinner around 10 p.m. My Greek housemate also told me that it was the same in Greece. Here in the Netherlands, it's around 6 p.m. And in France we generally have dinner between 7:30 and 8:30. It seems to me that the more Southern you are, the later is the evening meal. It must have something to do with the time of the sunset and the weather. -- Christophe Grandsire Philips Research Laboratories -- Building WB 145 Prof. Holstlaan 4 5656 AA Eindhoven The Netherlands Phone: +31-40-27-45006 E-mail: grandsir@natlab.research.philips.com
