Actually the Tela Trans-Terrestre was coined after Esperanto, and I've never seen it outside a couple of messages in IdeoLengua. There was another try: MMM, meaning Malla-Mundial-Máxima (this one is from RAE "Real Academia Española", I think). Any how, the universal way of calling that is "la güeb", or just "Internet" (since Mosaic it seems most people can't tell the difference between Internet and the WWW). ObConlang in Chleweyish the word for WWW is _wowaw_ /w\u:w\Ow/ where w\ is a voiced labiovelar fricative. For Internet, the word is _internet_ /int@n`@t/ where n` is a retroflex /n/. And of course, we have _eymel_ /i:m@l/ and another service in _internet_. How are WWW and Internet called in those conlangs that apply? I know Hangkerimians know something like Internet in their world, but I haven't come out to a world... if there is one word, anyhow. -- Carlos Th
