thinking: essentially, Luke and Josephus were drawing on a common source
here. The Greek is a bit odd grammatically and rather terse, not much like
either the Luke or the Josephus matrices in which this text (in its different
versions) have been integrated -- Luke probably changed it far more than
Josephus did.
Some particularly Christian bits appear only in the Greek text of Josephus,
not in the Arabic version, and so may not be authentic.
