Just to be obnoxious, I might point out that typos do not soley exist in
forms that a compiler will catch. A misplaced semicolon that terminates
a C for loop will go unnoticed, as did the comma to period change that
changed a FORTRAN for loop to an assignment and caused a lot of trouble
for early versions of the code for NASA's Mercury launches. To be
honest, though, the trial and error approach is used for my code, too.
