Germany in the 1940s writing one of the best programming languages of the time? (Can't remember the thing's name... I don't think it was publicly released till 1975 or 1978 or something. The only thing I can remember about the language was that it used two or three lines for each command.)

Which they'll probably ignore because they realise this.
