i don't see how what i say "is not quite right". as i don't have access
to the web right now, i don't know what that page says, but:
the words "separation of church and state" do not occur anywhere in the
constitution.  the part that is usually quoted in support of this
separation reads:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to
assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
