i don't believe in the good vs. bad dichotomy, since so many other things
show that dichotomies don't usually exist:
light exists, darkness does not
heat exists, cold does not
etc.
"darkness" and "cold" are just labels for the absence of light and heat,
respectively. so why not:
good exists, bad does not
with "bad" being a label for the absence of good?
